I came across this beautifully written piece today.

Dear Human:

You’ve got it all wrong. You didn’t come here to master unconditional love. That is where you came from and where you’ll return. You came here to learn personal love. Universal love. Messy love. Sweaty love. Crazy love. Broken love. Whole love. Infused with divinity. Lived through the grace of stumbling. Demonstrated through the beauty of… messing up. Often. You didn’t come here to be perfect. You already are. You came here to be gorgeously human. Flawed and fabulous. And then to rise again into remembering. But unconditional love? Stop telling that story. Love, in truth, doesn’t need ANY other adjectives. It doesn’t require modifiers. It doesn’t require the condition of perfection. It only asks that you show up. And do your best. That you stay present and feel fully. That you shine and fly and laugh and cry and hurt and heal and fall and get back up and play and work and live and die as YOU. It’s enough. It’s Plenty.” - Courtney A. Walsh.

I hail from the beautiful Berkshires, located in Massachusetts, where I owned and operated a studio for 18 years before moving to Melbourne, FL.

I love my job. I have had the pleasure of photographing people for the past 25 years. It is very rewarding to help my clients. I create portraits for political campaigns, book covers, model portfolios and corporate headshots. In addition to this, I also photograph family portraits, engagement photos and weddings.

My career has given me access to people and places I might never have had the opportunity to meet or visit. For instance, I have meet and photographed Norman Lear, (the creator of "All in the Family"); Martin Scorsese ( film director); Maya Ying Lyn; (Architect Designer of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial); Jane Swift (then Governor Massachusetts); Jim Lehrer; Bill Moyers; Ralph Nader and Sigourney Weaver.

My background in photojournalism allowed me to do photo essays that have included drag queens, to Ku Klux Klan members, to street urchins in New Orleans. My work has appeared in numerous newspapers and publications, including “Brides” and “Sports Illustrated Magazine.”

I am located at The Boulevard Professional Bldg., 1600 W. Eau Gallie Bld., Melbourne, FL

THE SURPRISE

Joy just thought she was having a photo session that her boyfriend booked while they were vacationing here at the Radisson on the beach. In the middle of the session, Rashaad got on a knee and proposed! Rashaad is in the military, and the couple plan to marry in Chicago where they hail from.

Brooch Bouquet

I really enjoyed photographing the sunrise ceremony this morning even though I had to rise out of bed at 5:00 AM. Pictured is the bride's gorgeous round brooch bouquet. It took 3 months to make.
